Time

My story takes place during WWII. In my first picture you will see a car that they had during the World War 2 era. In the second picture you will see another car this is one of the first sports cars in America. In the third picture you will see a painting of a plane flying through the clouds. In the fourth picture you will see a painting of a plane flying over the ocean. In the fifth picture you will see soldiers holding up a Nazi flag. In the sixth picture you will see some of the WWII women’s fashion.

My stories geography takes place in and around the Black Forest. The reason that the Black Forest is so important is becaause when Warren Carters plane crashes and John Anderson saves him they take hiding in the black forest and they walk in the forest for weeks while hiding so the German army doesn't find them. The Black Forest is in southwestern Germany. The highest peak is Feldberg with an elevation of 4,898 Ft. the Black Forest region is practically square it is 120 miles long and 37 miles wide. The whole region is 4,600 square miles. There is a type of giant earth worm in the Black Forest called a Lumbricus badensis this only is found in the black forest region.

The mood I am going to make is suspense. In the first part of my story I am going to make suspense is by having John Anderson one of my main characters getting lost and separated from his troops and can’t find his way.

In the second part of the story John Anderson will see a plane crash he will run over to help and he sees that it is another U.S. soldier and he saves him it turns out the man is Warren R. Carter they head to the black forest for protection from the enemies planes. After he gets out of the forest he is captured by Adolf Hitler my last main character.

Major General Warren R. Carter was born in Winchell, Texas in 1898.right after college he enrolled in the air force. He trained at Kelly field, Texas. He went to his first air force position in February, 1923.in 1924 he returned briefly to be a contestant in aerial gunnery and bombing contest at Langley field VA. In 1935 he entered the command and general staff school. Then he attended army War College. After that he had a lot of offers to teach at different facilities. He went through multiple teaching jobs until January in 1944 when he was assigned to Brisbane, Australia where he was the commanding general of the 5th air force. He commanded different wings after that. In December 1944 where he moved to Nadzab, New Guinea. He commanded many wings and air forces there until he had to command a airlift unit to get the troops out of there because the war progressed to far this was critical because there was limited amounts of transport there.

John B. Anderson Bio

Major General John Benjamin Anderson is my one of my main charecters. He was born march 10th 1891 in Waxabachie, Iowa. He did not serve for the U.S. in WWI he served for France until he came back to America for comand and general school staff school in 1925. then went on to army war school til 1928. he had to go along way to become Major General it took him 13 years. He became a major general in august 1941. He retired In 1946 with many decorations though he won the distinguishe service medal, the legion of merrit, and bronze star. He died November 1st, 1976. he is now burried in arlington cemetery.

Adolf Hitler Bio

Adolf Hitler is the antagonist of my story. He was born on the 20th of April in 1889 in Austria. He was born in a very small town called Braneu. Braneu was right on the border of Germany. Most of Adolf’s teachers were German nationalists which influenced Hitler a lot. Hitler was the top of his class until when he went to secondary school when he learned he wasn’t top of his class he decided to stop trying which led to him dropping out of secondary school. Hitler wanted to be a artist and his father quickly shut that down. Later in his life after his mother and father died and after WWI he joined the NSDAP (National Socialist German Workers Party) or the Nazi party. He joined the Nazi party in 1920 and was the ruler of the Nazi party in 1921. Hitler became a dictator of Germany by enforcing nationalism, anti-Semitism, anti-communism, charismatic oratory, and propaganda. He died on April 30th 1945 hours after he got married to Eva Braun he and his wife died. Most speculation says he and his wife committed suicide.
